Mishawaka-Marion M. Mynsberge, 93, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 Hospice House of Elkhart. Marion Hoorinks was born on July 25, 1924 in Mishawaka to Isadore and Emma (Van De Moore) Hoorinks. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Madelyn Hoorinks, Clara Maenhout, Marie Posa and Loretta Galbreath; brothers, Jack and Alphonse “Fuzz” Hoorinks and a great grandchild, Rowan Williams. On August 3, 1946 she married Maurice “Muzz” Mynsberge at St. Bavo Catholic Church. Maurice preceded her in death on January 3, 2018 after 71 years of marriage. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn (Donald) Holmes; sons, Michael (Debra Wesolek-Mynsberge) Mynsberge and Jeffrey Mynsberge all of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren, Tara and Aaron Holmes, Dana Shell, Justin, Peter, Laura and Joel Mynsberge; three great grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan Shell and Homer Williams and sister, Joan Healy of Colorado Springs, CO. Also surviving are her former daughters-in-law, Michele Mynsberge and Gina Mynsberge and special caregiver, Staci Hendricks Marion was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was everything to her. She was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church in Mishawaka, the BK Club ladies Auxiliary. She golfed for many years in a league at Studebaker Course in South Bend. Marion worked for many years at West End Bakery as a cake decorator. Visitation will be on Friday, January 19 from 5 to ¬8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m. in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
