Nicholas T. Simeri, proprietor of Nicola's Restaurant 809 N Michigan St, died Friday night in St Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN. He had been ill for about six months. He resided at 1126 E Cambridge Dr. Mr. Simeri was born on May 2, 1928, in South Bend and lived here all his life. He married Dema Dillon on May 1, 1954, in South Bend. She survives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rocco Simeri of South Bend; two sons, Nicholas and Anthony, both at home; four daughters, Laura, Brenda, Holly, and Jill, all at home; four brothers, Joseph of South Bend, Patrick of Mishawaka, Albert and Rocco, both of Elkhart, and a sister Mrs. Edward Wray of South Bend. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel, where arrangements are pending. He was a member of the South Bend Elks Lodge. Memorial contributions to his favorite charity will be determined at a later date by family members.Editor: He was buried in Highland Cemetery, South Bend IN. He was the son of Rocco Vencenzo Semeri and Rosa Linarello.
