Linda T Crimson, 70, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Linda was born September 19, 1946 in South Bend to the late Gerald and Mary (Gabrysiak) Lee. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara King. On May 12, 1973 in St. Mary's National Catholic Church Linda married her lifelong love, David Blodgett. He survives along with their daughter, Lisa Blodgett; sisters, Mary (Dale) Hartman, Suzanna Lee; brother, Richard (Jacqueline) Lee; nieces and nephews, Katie Lee, Michael & Christopher Lee, Anne Marie (Jason) Silvey, Nancy Gumm and David & Alan King. Linda attended IUSB where she received her BA, then went on to University of Oregon for her MFA in sculpture. She taught Bronze Cast Sculpture and Fine Arts at IUSB for 30 years. Linda was a parishioner of St. Mary's National Catholic Church, and a member in the choir and Ladies Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, casting her sculptures into bronze, carving stones and painting watercolors. Linda loved her animals and family dearly. She painted over 100 murals with her husband in many different states and home schooled her daughter all the way through high school. Her daughter Lisa is an actress and she never missed a show she was in. Oregon was her favorite place to live and trips to the Oregon Coast were very special to her. She was an awesome person and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to Riley's Children's Hospital or WNIT.
