JACKSONVILLE, FL - Benjamin Moses Piotrowski 26, of Jacksonville, FL, a former & lifelong resident of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly in Jacksonville on Wednesday January 27, 2016. Ben was born to Kent and Jenny Piotrowski on March 15, 1989 in Mishawaka. Ben went to Penn High School where he played football. He later went on to coach football at Penn. After high school graduation Ben played football at The University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. He also attended Ball State & IUSB. On May 24, 2014, Ben married the love of his life & high school sweetheart, Lyndsay Epley. Ben & Lyndsay relocated to the Jacksonville area where he was the chapter manager for NECA. They made many great friends there and enjoyed getting to know the area & being with their new friends. Ben enjoyed golfing, being outdoors, watching & playing sports and spending time with his family & friends. He loved anything associated with Notre Dame Football, as well as the Chicago Bears. Ben made friends wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by everyone who loved & knew him. In lieu of flowers, Ben's family would like any donations to be made to the St. Mary's College dance marathon (which benefits Riley Children's Hospital) or the Storehouse Food Pantry at River Valley Church. “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Hebrews 13:5 He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Werner & Mildred Lanter, and paternal grandfather, Dale Piotrowski. Ben is survived by his wife, Lyndsay (Epley) Piotrowski; parents, Kent & Jenny Piotrowski, brother Cody Piotrowski, paternal grandmother, Annette Piotrowski; his mother & father-in-law, Bob & Mindy Epley; Grandpa Rogers; sister-in-law Taylor (Ryan) Wilson; nieces, Emitt & Logan Wilson; aunts, Robin (Patrick) Slater, Michelle (David) Hayes and eight cousins; Nicole (Micah) Cox, Stefanie (Mark) Barnett, Steven (Sara) Banks, Bradley Hayes, Jonathon Hayes, Isaiah Cox, Finley Cox & Briggs Cox.
