Born 16 Oct 1904, came to So Bend 53 years ago. SBd Tribune 9 Sept 1960; Grabarek Found Dead by Father -- Stanley, age 56 of 223 N O'Brien St was found dead in his room by his father, John Grabarek age 82, shortly before noon. Police said Grabarek apparently died a natural death about 6 a.m. Thursday. The father told police his son went up to his room at 8 p.m. Wed. When he didn't see him come downstairs Thrus., he went up & found him lying acorss the bed, dead. Stanley retired from the US Air Fore in 1942 after 20 years of service. Services at St Stanislaus CAtholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. Surviving besides his father are 6 brothers: John Jr, Casimir both of So Bend, William and WAlter both of New Carlisle; Matthew of North Dakota and Chester of Osceola; two sisters, Mrs Marie Barczykowski and Mrs Val Day of Los Angeles.
