Michael Pridavka, Jr., 98, of Buchanan, MI passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his home. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Buchanan, MI with Fr. Leo Cartagena officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Buchanan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans - Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of the Donor's choice in his name. Those wishing to share a memory of Michael online may do so at www.swemchapel.com. Michael was born July 27, 1923 in Niles, MI to Michael Anton and Frances (Olach) Pridavka from Sumnerville, MI. He graduated from Dowagiac High School. Michael served his Country in the United States Navy in WWII from 1941 - 1945. On October 7, 1961 he married Mildred Skinner in Buchanan. Michael worked for Clark Equipment for 38 years as an electrician, where her retired from in 1984. In his spare time, he enjoyed cutting wood, golfing and going for his daily rides. Michael "Big Mike" is survived by his wife Mildred Pridavka; son Michael (Eydie) Pridavka; two granddaughters Niki Pridavka and Nina Pridavka; and many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, sister Olivet Pridavka and brother Steven Pridavka.
