GRANGER - Larry Stephen Sabinas, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1948 in South Bend, IN, to Edward Sabinas and Hazel (Rice) Kaplachinski, both of whom preceded him in death. On December 26, 1989 in New Carlisle, IN, Larry married the former Anica Ruzicic, who survives. In addition to his loving wife of 28 years, Larry is survived by three sons, Jim (Kristi) Sabinas of North Liberty, IN, Ted (Lanae) Sabinas of Shawnee, KS, and Carl (Hayley) Sabinas of South Bend; nine grandchildren, Mandy (Bryan) Pittman, Stephen (Brittany) Sabinas, Trevor Summers, Kessa (Kale) Carlson, Leandra (Michael) Zehner, T. Wyatt Sabinas, Danae Sabinas, Kai Sabinas, and Kinsley Sabinas; six great-grandchildren, Alainna, Lydia, Prestyn, Rayna, Cameron, and Corson; sister, Linda (Claude) Malone of Hattiesburg, MS; and three brothers, Michael (Diane) Sabinas of New Carlisle, Ted (Dianne) Sabinas of Cedar Springs, MI, and Mark (Theresa) Sabinas of La Porte, IN. A Memorial Service for Larry will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Rev. Kevin Bauman will officiate.
