Miriam Adele Dunkleberger, age 98 of South Bend, passed away on Thursday, June 30th at Acres Of Indiana. Miriam was born August 10, 1923 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Francis M. and Anna Mabel (Leeds) Rush. She married the late Jesse Dunkleberger on July 24, 1946 in Richmond, Indiana. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law John Kronewitter, a daughter-in-law April Dunkleberger, three sisters: Iva Youngman, Elnora Addington, Mary Hollis, two brothers Ople Rush and Edgar Rush. Miriam enjoyed ceramics, flower arranging and crafting. She is survived by her children: Anna May Kronewitter of Mishawaka, Cara Sue (Dana) Keeton of South Bend, James Wesley (Carol) Dunkleberger of Gulfport, Mississippi and Daniel Dee Dunkleberger of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandsons, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN 46545. The family will have a private funeral service with interment at Fairview Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Homes - Bubb Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
