John Barna, 744 W. Sample St., died at 3:25 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Yugoslavia, Nov. 6, 1896, and came here in 1912 from Yugoslavia. He was an employee of the Studebaker-Packard Corp. Surviving are two sons, John Jr., and Ernest; a brother, Frank, and four grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Nemeth Funeral Home.

BARNA - Funeral services for John Barna, 744 W. Sample St., who died Saturday, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Nemeth Funeral Home, Rev. Stephen Kalabany of Memorial Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 8 a.m. today in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Frank Barna, Jr., Michael Barna, Paul Righter, Mark Schumaker, Emory Tokay and John Kolat.
