Stanley Chelminiak, 48, of 19060 Layden, died at 11:05am today in Memorial Hospital. Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Notes

Services for Stanley J. Chelminiak, 48, of 19060 Layden, who died Tuesday after a brief illness, will be at 10am Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rev. Paul Doyle, CSC, assistant pastor; officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9pm Thursday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.
He was born on September 4, 1929, in South Bend and lived here all his life. He was a salesman for Modern Kitchens, Inc., Elkhart, seven years. On September 9, 1950, in South Bend, he married Jeanne McDonough, who survives, along with four daughters, Miss Sandy Chelminiak of Bremen, Miss Jan Chelminiak of South Bend and Miss Susan and Miss Stacy Chelminiak, both at home; a son, Steven, at home and his mother, Mrs. Stella Chelminiak of South Bend.

Services for Stanley J. Chelminiak, 48, of 19060 Layden, who died Tuesday, have been rescheduled for 10am Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9pm Friday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Friday.
