NORTH LIBERTY - Dorothy G. Bulla, 88, formerly of North Liberty made her transition on November 15, 2014 in Brownsburg, Indiana. She was born March 16, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Peter Dobbelaere and Elodie VanTornhout. On April 21, 1945 in South Bend, Dorothy married William Roy Bulla, who preceded her in death on April 10, 1988. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her son Gregory and daughter Carol and son-in-law, Larry Burgess. She is survived by sons, Douglas (Charlene) of Mishawaka, Indiana and John (Veronica) of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and a daughter, Maria Burgess of Brownsburg, Indiana. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Nicole (Sean) Dwyer, Shannon (John) Matthew, Justin (Breanne) Bulla, Christopher Burgess, Erika (Stephen Brummet) Burgess and Eva Bulla; and 4 great-grandchildren, Ciara Dwyer, Jack Matthew, Lochlan Dwyer, and Drew Matthew. For those who wish to share in this celebration of her life, we will be meeting at Kaniewski Funeral Home located at 3545 N. Bendix Dr. in South Bend from 11 am to 1 pm with a Rosary commencing at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetary in North Liberty.
