SOUTH BEND, IN - Doris Klitzke, nee Anglin, 92, beloved wife of the late Richard Klitzke, dear mother of Janet Sallander, Kay (Scott) Aiello, and Alan (Susan Cordes) Klitzke, loving grandmother of Amanda, Michael (Amanda Boleyn), and Steven Sallander, Adam Wanezek, Allison (Brian) Sorrentino, and Megan Wanezek, and Robin Klitzke, beloved aunt, cousin, and friend of many was was born in Nappanee, Indiana and was valedictorian at Nappanee High School, VP of the debate team, and clarinet player and drum majorette in the band. She received her bachelor's degree in music from Ball State University and masters degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin. She and Richard married in 1951 and lived in CA, FL, SC, IN, IL, and WI, before moving to South Bend, Indiana. After Richard's passing, Doris moved to Lincolnwood, IL to be closer to family. Doris worked as an educator, music and business teacher, guidance counselor, and private piano teacher. She loved family, friends, playing bridge, and her church.
