Salisbury- Anthony A. Hosinski, 87, of Salisbury, died Monday, February 17, 2003 at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in South Bend, Indiana he was the son of the late Anthony P. Hosinski and Louise Touchinski Hosinski. Mr. Hosinski attended Notre Dame University. He served in the Army for seven years, one of which was on Tinian. He was a member and former lector of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and volunteered at The Joseph House, ECI, and Habitat for Humanity. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years Alice A. Hosinski, five sons; Thomas A. Hosinski and his wife Karen of Rockville, Robert A. Hosinski and his wife Pam of Folsom, CA, James A. Hosinski and his wife Theresa of Reston, VA, John A. Hosinski and his wife Gloria of Silver Spring, and Mark D. Hosinski of Boise, Idaho, three daughters; Mary E. Manning and her husband Dennis of Silver Spring, Anne L. Seawell and her husband Jeff of Hartford, Wisconsin, and Joan M. Bass and her husband Brad of Rockville, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son David Hosinski and seven siblings. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 1 PM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Paul J. Campbell will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Contributions may be made to the St. Francis de Sales Building Fund, 514 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801. Arrangements are being handled by the staff of Bounds Funeral Home.
