SOUTH BEND - Randall R. Michalak, 38, passed away on Monday in his residence. He is survived by his parents, William and Patricia; two brothers, Andy Michalak and William (Beth) Michalak. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Condolences may be made at www.sjfh.net.

SOUTH BEND - Randall R. Michalak, 38, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010, in his residence. Randall was born on October 24, 1971, to William and Patricia (Wesolowski) Michalak. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved to tell jokes and play pranks on his family and friends. He graduated from Riley High School in 1990. He then enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served in Germany. Randy joined his father and mother in their business, South Bend Chimney, and Warsaw Patio and Fireplace, as a chimney sweep and fireplace technician. He was proud of his work, as he well should have been. He was the best. He was also a 3rd Degree Mason of North Liberty #266, and loved his ukulele. He will be greatly missed by his mother, father and by his two brothers. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents; Harry and Lillian Michalak, Edward and Dorothy Wesolowski. He is survived by his parents, William and Patricia; two brothers, Andy Michalak and William (Beth) Michalak; stepnephew, Christian (Mack) Burnham; two nieces, Delaney and Elsie Michalak. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. October 22, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Masonic Service will begin at 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Charles Herman officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.sjfh.net.
