On Saturday, March 19, 2005, Ervin Pilarski, 95, of Passavant Retirement Home, Zelienople, Pa., formerly of Bellevue, Pa.

Mr. Pilarski was district manager for Anheuser-Busch Company for 20 years. He was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus #1400 Bellevue and in South Bend, Indiana, where he was born. He also managed the Ward Baking Company in South Bend prior to moving to the Pittsburgh area in 1954. As an active member of AARP he held several local and statewide positions, and held a variety of positions with the American Baking Association and Retail Master Bakers Association.

He was the loving husband of the late Lottie "Rose" (Buczkowski) Pilarski, his wife of 70 years; beloved father of James Pilarski, Southern Shore, N.C., Kenneth Pilarski of Mars, Pa., Rosalie Keszer of Cleveland, Ohio, and Robert Pilarski of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and by his sister, Margaret Somers of The Woodlands, Texas.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Assumption, 45 N. Sprague Avenue, Bellevue, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana, at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 24.
