SOUTH BEND - Theresa Ann Goralski, 81, a lifetime resident of South Bend, Indiana, was called home to join her Heavenly Father at 5:35 p.m. on Friday, November 5th, 2010. Theresa was born on July 10th, 1929, to the late Ignacious and Martha (Walkowiak) Kandzierski. On January 31, 1959, she married her soulmate and dancing partner, Eugene "Geno" Frank Goralski, who preceded her in death on July 19, 1984. Also preceding her in death were her beloved infant son, Michael Thomas Goralski; her prankster brothers, Stanley Kandzierski and Bert Kandzierski; and her brothers-in-law, Lenny Skwarcan and Jerome Golubski. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Denise Goralski of South Bend, Greg Goralski of South Bend, Gary Goralski of South Bend and Dennis (Shannon) Goralski of Cumming, Georgia; her precious grandson, Geno Frank Goralski; the Three Musketeers: sisters, Josephine Golubski and Phyllis Skwarcan, and brother, John (Virginia) Kandzierski; and many other family members. She is also survived by grandpuppies, Zosia (the favorite) and Mufassa. She was devoted parishioner of Saint Adalbert's Parish, a member of the Saint Adalbert's Rotary Solidarity and Sisters Auxiliary. Theresa was proud of her Polish heritage, loved to dance the polka, and dedicated her life to creating an incredible legacy she left behind. She was a loving Matka, Busia, Ciotka and Znajomego to many people she encountered throughout her life. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2010, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Donations to be made to Saint Adalbert's Parish, 2420 Huron Street, South Bend, IN 46619; or to Marians of the Immaculate Conception, Eden Hill, Stockbridge, MA 01263.
