SOUTH BEND - John M. Hipsak, Jr., 94, passed away at 6:30 AM Monday, September 8, 2014 at Golden Living Nursing Center, Mishawaka, IN. He worked at Eslinger's TV for twenty years. John was born on March 13, 1920 in South Bend, IN to the late John M. Sr. and Katheryn (Poza) Hipsak and remained a lifelong resident. John is survived by three daughters, Janice S. (Wesley) Mead of South Bend, Marlene L. Hipsak and Frances I. Kronberger both of Redding, CA; seven grandchildren, Gerry Kronberger, Marci Kronberger, Tony Mead, Laurie Savage, Todd (Stephanie) Mead, Guy Mead, and Scott (Chris) Mead; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. His sister, Gizella Emery preceded John in death. Mr. Hipsak honorably served his country as a Master Sergeant in the Army Air Force during World War II. Thanks to Golden Living Center, Mishawaka for all of their special love and care for John Hipsak, Jr. A special thanks to his friend Stella, PaPa loves you. Burial will take place in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
