Jenny Cowsert, 57, of South Bend, IN., passed away at 2:42 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawka.Jenny was born on November 17, 1964 in South Bend to Joseph E. and Jeanlea “Jeanie” (Capelli) Cowsert, who both have preceded her in death.Jenny is survived by her sister, Jilene (Kyle) Schori of Mishawaka and her niece, Leah Cowsert. Jenny graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1983 and she worked at Carpenters in Elkhart starting in 1989. She was a volunteer at Hospice. She enjoyed rock and roll, playing softball, and she was excellent in the Dart League. “Three’s A Charm,” a team of three women, won 6 championships. Jenny is being awarded the Pinnacle Award this year for the best in darts.Visitation for Jenny will take place on Monday, December 13, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka where funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
