SOUTH BEND - Doris J. (Claffey) Marosz, 95, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Hospice House of St. Joseph County. Doris was born March 22, 1920 in Mishawaka to the late Joseph and Lena (Hans) Claffey. On November 4, 1941 Doris married Alex Marosz; he preceded her in death in 1992. Doris is also preceded in death by a son, Bruce Marosz, and brother, Joseph Claffey. Survivors of Doris include her children, Larry Marosz, Michael (Judy) Marosz, and Marilou Marosz all of South Bend; and grandsons, Kyle Marosz of South Bend, and Joseph Marosz of Myrtle Beach, SC. Doris was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago White Sox fan. Visitation for Doris will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Rd. A private family burial will be at Highland Cemetery at a later date.
