MISHAWAKA - Marjorie Joan Czosnowski, 80, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Marjorie was born on January 12, 1931 in South Bend to Stanley and Marie (Kovatch) Sledzikowski. She was preceded in death by her parents. On January 13, 1951 in St. Stephens Catholic Church, South Bend as the former Marjorie Sledzikowski, she married Arthur Czosnowski. Surviving are her loving husband of 60 years, Arthur; children, Quinn (Roberta) Czosnowski, Lynn Hill, Brenda (Carl) Kindig and Cindy (Mark) Kappes all of Mishawaka; a sister, Dorothy of Middlebury, IN; five grandchildren, Dr. Quinn A. (Lauren) Czosnowski of Wallingford, PA, Christopher Kindig of Chicago, IL, Kallie Kindig, Michael Kappes and Katelyn Hill all of Mishawka. Marjorie was a graduate of South Bend Central High School. She was a Nurse's Aid at St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka and then worked for Dr. Barone before she retired in 1976. Family and friends may visit Today, Friday, April 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Scheidt officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
