Weddad S. Horvath, 94, passed away on Saturday May 16, peacefully in her residence with her husband at her side. Weddad was born on July 29, 1920 in Mishawaka as the daughter of Albert and Romise (Hammond) Siade. On March 24, 1963 in First United Methodist Church Mishawaka as Weddad Siade she married Louis J. Horvath he survives along with her brothers and sisters, Monieffa “Babe” Wadsworth, Saeed Siade, Neaman Siade, Allie (Joan) Siade Theweah (Art) Hartig, Marian Siade Slabaugh, Joe (Kay) Siade, Ralph (Sue) Siade and many nieces and nephews. Her special nieces Vicky Achterberg and Chris Parman. Weddad was preceded in death by her brothers Moniefa “Eddy” Siade and Shkeep Siade and sisters Minnie Wyatt, Raeffa Miller. Weddad was and administrative assistant for Bendix Corp. in South Bend for Twenty-Two years. She was a member of Bendix Women’s golf league the Mishawaka Alumni Association, an avid Chicago Bears fan, loved golfing, and was well known for her Cruel Work. The family would like to thank the Center for Hospice for their special care and kindness especially care givers Penny and Nora.Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Tuesday May 19, in Hahn Funeral Home 505 W, 8th Street Mishawaka. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 20, at 10:00 am in the funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation supporting Center for Hospice Care 501 Comfort Place Mishawaka, IN 46545.
