Michael Gerasimos Kristos, 83, of Mishawaka passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. Mr. Kristos was born August 28, 1936 in Athens, Greece and had lived in South Bend since 1964, coming from England. In 1965, he married Georgia Maros, who preceded him in death in 2000. He was also preceded in death by a step-son, Mickey Maros. In January of 2003 in Palm Beach, FL, he married Elena Chiran who survives. He is also survived by his son, Michael Kemastoules of England, and a granddaughter, Xanthia Kemastoules. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 52455 Ironwood Road, South Bend, IN, with Father George Konstantopoulos officiating. Committal services and entombment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend.
