South Bend Eleanor Nettie Lesinski, 80, of East Brook Drive, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at Northwood Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Lesinski retired in 1971 from Allied-Bendix Corp. as an assembler after more than 35 years of service. She was born Jan. 20, 1916 in South Bend. On Jan. 17, 1948, in South Bend, as Eleanor N. Kazmierczak, she married Matthew Lesinski. He survives with a stepson, Ronald of Clovis, Calif.; two step-grandchildren; and six sisters, Louise Plotrowski, Marie Lochmondy and Gertrude Ewald, all of South Bend, Adeline Marosz and Genevieve Zielinski, both of Mishawaka, and Margaret Maegher of Portland, Ore. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.
