South Bend - Nancy J. Kosek, 77, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 in Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Nancy was born December 25, 1937 in Michigan City to the late Albert and Mildred Butler. On September 14, 1957 Nancy married Stanley Kosek who preceded her in death on March 1, 1996. Survivors of Nancy include her sons, Bruce (Maria) Kosek and Barry (Jami) Kosek all of South Bend; grandchildren Crystal, Amber, James and Ryan Kosek; brothers Harvey, Richard, and Donald Butler. Nancy was an Office Manager with Hanson Logistics; she retired in 2004 after 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed gardening, reading, watching Notre Dame Sports and cooking for her family. Most of all, she loved traveling and time spent with her family, especially to her winter home in Florida. Visitation for Nancy will be 2:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, April 23, 2014 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Rosary will be prayed at pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am Friday, April 24, 2015 in St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net
