DEATH: Obituary from South Bend Tribute Sept.28, 2010
Elizabeth A. Schubert passed away at the age of 100 on Sunday, September 26,2010 at Caring Junction on S. Ironwood Drive, Mishawaka, Indiana. Elizabeth was born in South Bend on January 13, 1910 to George and Mary Eazsol. On July 23, 1935 in Rochester, IN she was married to Joseph Schubert who preceded her in death June 28, 1989. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, George, Steve and Frank Eazsol. Elizabeth worked for Albert Huffman for sixteen years and then at Associates Investment Company until her retirement in 1968.She is survived by one daughter, June Scott (Robert); one granddaughter, Jacqueline L. Scheel (Dr. Frederick); two great grandchildren, Andrew and Danielle Scheel and one sister-in-law, Mary Eazsol all of South Bend. Elizabeth will always be remembered for her optimistic outlook on life as well as her determination and strong will. She will be dearly missed by her family. Elizabeth was a former member of the Avalon Grotto Auxillary. A special thank you to the loving staff at Caring Junction, Risa, Kima, Sierra, Jamilla and Stephanie who became like family to all of us. Also thank you to Southern Care Hospice for making mom's last months as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to Southern Care Hospice, 310 W.
