MISHAWAKA - Regina Golcz, 89, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008,, in her home. Regina was born on October 11, 1919, in South Bend, to Konstanty W. and Kathrine (Jabukiak) Wojciechowski. She had formerly been employed with Wilson Brothers and Sears Roebuck. Regina had also been a volunteer sacristan at St. Monica Church for 20 years. On October 7, 1939, in St. Casimir Church, as Regina Wojciechowski, with her brother, Rev. Leo Wojciechowski, C.S.C., presiding, she married Edward Golcz. Edward passed away on November 21, 1976. Surviving are four nieces, Cathy Kopinski, Carolyn (Tom) Haluda, Patricia (Robert) Zakrocki and Sue (John) Firtl; one nephew, Darryl Wojciechowski; and one sister-in-law, Loretta Wojciechowski. Preceding her in death were four brothers, Rev. Leo Wojciechowski, C.S.C., and William, Stephen and Arthur Wojciechowski; one sister, Helen Wroblewski; three infant siblings; and four nephews, Irvin and Eugene Wroblewski, William and David Wojciechowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, in St. Monica Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call for one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday in St. Monica Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
