Laraleen M. Bikowski, 68, of Osborne Road, Lakeville, IN, died Sunday, May 26, 2002 at 6:45 a.m. Laraleen was born April 2, 1934 in Gary, IN and was the daughter of Lawrence and Charlotte (Putsch) Rowan who both have preceded her in death. She married Stanley C. Bikowski on March 4, 1967 who survives. She is also survived by one son; Allan Bikowski of Lakeville, IN, three daughters; Michele Jackson of South Bend, IN, Lori Schlotfeldt of Granger, IN, Deeanne Locsi of Lakeville, IN, two step-daughters; Karen Surma of Vermont and Lori Ann Zimmerman of Niles, MI, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one twin sister, Charleen Bain of Gary, IN. Laraleen was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lakeville, IN. She was a L.P.N. and worked at Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, IN. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where there will be a rosary said at 7 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lakeville, IN. Burial will follow at the Southlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN, 46637-3437 .
