died 20 JUL 1985 in Edwardsburg, Cass, Michigan, at 83 years
of age. His body was interred 24 JUL 1985 in South Bend, St.

He married GLENICE LA VON KECK in Gravelton, Elkhart,
Indiana, 14 FEB 1926. GLENICE was born in Nappanee, Elkhart,
Indiana 20 JAN 1905. GLENICE was the daughter of JESSE W.
KECK and IDA MADGE PEMBROOK. GLENICE died 10 JAN 1975 in
Edwardsburg, Cass, Michigan, at 69 years of age. Her body was
interred 13 JAN 1975 in South Bend, St. Joseph, Indiana, Mt.
Pleasant Cemetary. Glenice graduated from high school in 1922
in Willard, Rusk County, Wisconsin where family lived at the
time. Glenice and Wilbur lived on Clear Lake in St. Joseph
County when they had Jenny and Jerry, and lived about a mile
from there when Esther was born. She was known as a gardener
and always had lots of beautiful flower gardens. Later in life
she had Alzheimer's disease, and they moved to a house trailer
on the farm where daughter Laurene cared for her. Wilbur
graduated from high school in Warren Twp., St. Joe County, Indiana in 1917.
According to Laurene Davis, her father, Wilbur, met Glenice
when their parents were living in Wisconsin. This makes sense,
since both families were living in Wisconsin at the time. He
was a farmer, worked for WPA, and later as a janitor in a machine
shop, Roach Appleton, in South Bend, Indiana. He was a devout
member of the Church of the Brethren.
