SOUTH BEND -- Rudy died Friday, May 27th at 9:22pm after many years fighting Parkinsons disease. He was born in South Bend to Edna and B.A. Coffman and lived in South Bend all his life. He was married Sept 5, 1953 at 7pm in the Indiana Ave. Christian Church to Bonnie J. Jones. He began his career at Midland Engineering serving as a foreman for many years. He became the owner of Seal Fast Roofing Company. Rudy spent his semi retirement driving a tanker for Waggoner Oil and retired to his first love of farming. Rupert is survied by his wife Bonnie; four sons: Johnnie Paul (Mary), Larry (Lori), Terry (Vicki), Jamey (Sharon), a daughter Laurie Marie (Bill); two sisters: Lorriane of South Bend and Ilene of San Antonio, TX; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
