MISHAWAKA - Josephine Constance Coryn, 91, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Josephine was born on December 14, 1925, in South Bend, as the daughter of Joseph and Kontansia (Janowiak) Pieaski. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. On May 25, 1946, in South Bend, she married Marcel A. Coryn; he preceded her in death on July 16, 2013. Surviving are her children, Timothy (Janice) Coryn of Mishawaka, Kathleen Coryn of Mishawaka; and was the proud grandmother of Ryan Marcel (Michelle) Coryn, who she helped take care of, and great-granddaughter, whom she had the pleasure of meeting, Haleigh Annmarie Coryn. She loved fishing and the out-of-doors. As per Josephine's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
