Born 17 Nov 1919 Anderson Texas; and lived in So Bend most of his life; died 18 Jan 1996, age 76 of South Liberty St; died at 2:05 p.m. in his home after an illness. He retired in 1984 from Michiana Wholesale. Services at St Adalbert's Catholic Church; entombment in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum at St Joseph Cemetery. He was a veteran of WW II and received the Purple Heart . On 2 Mar 1946 in LaPorte IN he married Sophie Nowicki who survives with a daughter, Mrs Christine Coleman of Granger; two sons, David of Lakeville and Timothy of SBd; 5 grandchildren, one great grandchild; three sisters: Mrs Verna Kuspa and Mrs Mary Gapczynski both of So Bend, and Mrs. Dorothy Kozlowski of LaPorte IN; five brothers; Harry, Casey, Louis, William and Leo "Jim" all of South Bend.
