Catherine was born in Poland, the daughter of Frank & Anna (Lewandowski) Woznicki. She married Joseph Ozdych on 8 January 1883 in Manistee. They were the parents of 6 children, Anthony, Mary, Walter, John, Veronica and Casimer.
