Marcia J. Moraschi, age 80, passed away on March 9, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry “Bernie” and Virginia McCrum; brother, Jack McCrum; husbands, Richard “Muggs” Heim and Frank Moraschi; her beloved partner, Jerry Kellogg and faithful friend, Noodles. Marcia was a graduate of Greene Township High School and was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph County living in North Liberty and Mishawaka. She retired from Monaco Coach, Wakarusa Indiana, after over 20 years of service. Marcia was so proud of her family and is survived by her loving daughters: Bonnie (Wade) Salyer of Plymouth, Maria (Tom) Chamberlin of South Bend and Angie Moraschi (Jim) of Mishawaka; her cherished grandchildren, James (Tiffany) Salyer, Alex Salyer, Weston Salyer, Jonathan Eby, Clinton Chamberlin, Mallory Chamberlin, Katelyn Crothers, Christopher Crothers, Nicholas Hancock, Anthony Hancock, Eric Hancock, Hailey Dowlen; and her adored great grandchildren, Brenna, Reese, Kamden and Easton. Marcia cherished her time spent with her closest neighbors who were like family to her, Jim & Sue Kowalik, Glen & Gin Goins, Mike & Kathy Nisley, Elizabeth Nisley and sons, Laura Gleva and son, Rick & Kathy Lange, Matt Martinez, and so many others.She will truly be missed but will always be thought of when visiting a garage sale, doing yard work, or vacationing as this is when she would want us to remember her, doing things she loved with those we love.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Traditions Health, especially Colin, who went above and beyond to show compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Homes - River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to be made to Traditions Health, 1820 E. Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
