MISHAWAKA - Ruth M. Wagner, 85, of Douglas Road, Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at 6:00am on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 at Sprenger Health and Rehabilitation in Mishawaka following an illness. She was born on October 6th, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Sophia (Stanziak) Potocki who preceded her in death along with a brother, Edward Potocki. On April 7th, 1956, she married Charles F. Wagner. He died in 1981. Ruth was a Laboratory Technician at LaPorte Hospital until she became a homemaker and full time mother. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mishawaka where she was active in the Rosary Society and Choir among other things including caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Charles Wagner, Donna (Michael) Brock, William Wagner, Joseph (Carol) Wagner, John (Michelle) Wagner and Barbara (Ronald) Holderbaum. Also surviving are twenty one grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren along with two sisters, Phyllis Stoner and Marie (Bernard) Michalski. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:30am. Friends will be received at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana from 4 until 7:00pm on Friday and one hour prior to the Mass at Queen of Peace on Saturday. Burial will follow the Mass on Saturday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Published in South Bend Tribune on Jan. 18, 2018
