Resided here since 1947 coming from Poland; died at age 83 at 3:17 a.m. at Regency Place Nursing Home; formerly of Dunham St. She retired in 1982 from St Mary's College. Services at St Adalbert's Catholic Church; buried at St Joseph Cem.
Surviving are her daughter Jane Grochowski of South Bend, a son, George, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Kazimerza Maslenska of Poland. A son, Slawian Grochowski died in now 1955.
