Francis Michael “Frank” Erdelyi of South Bend, Indiana, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at 12:15 a.m. at Hospice House of St. Joseph County of natural causes. He was 59. Frank was born January 29, 1947, in Plymouth, Indiana, to Julius and Margaret (Arch) Erdelyi. He was an area lifelong resident. He married Linda A. Yancik on February 6, 1971. He retired from Roadway Express where he worked for six years. He had also been employed with Preston Trucking. Frank was a member of the Teamsters Local #364 and had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He will be greatly missed by his lab, Sidney. A memorial service was held May 11, 2006 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home.
