According to the federal censuses of South Bend, John F. Przybysz came from Poland in the late 1880s. In 1910, he was a moulder in a local factory, and in 1920 he was a woodworker in the automobile industry. His obituary, published in the South Bend Tribune on Tues., Sep. 2, 1930, adds that he had been a woodworker with the Oliver Farm Equipment Co. His funeral services were held at St. Casimir's Catholic Church in South Bend. His survivors included his wife, Angela, one son, Theodore, and four daughters, Leokadya, Henrietta, Veronica, and Clara, all of South Bend; three brothers, Andrew and Valentine Przybysz, of South Bend, and Samuel Przybysz, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
