SOUTH BEND - Lillian V. Jaroszewski, 97, passed away at 2:05 pm, Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Lillian was born December 28, 1915 in South Bend, to the late Ladislaus and Mary (Samulski) Jaroszewski. Lillian is also preceded in death by brothers, Casimir, Louis, Stanley, John, and Clement Jaroszewski; sisters, Clara Clark and Cecelia Osowski; and nieces, Joan Jaroszewski and Barbara Jones. Survivors include nieces, Lorraine (John) Szabo of South Bend, Joyce (Emery) Horvath of Granger, Kathleen Jaroszewski of South Bend, Mary (Ronald Thelen) Osowski of Fredericksburg, VA, and Susan (Larry) Pike of Carmel, IN; nephew, Leo (Rozanne) Jaroszewski of Lexington, KY; and many great-nieces and nephews. Lillian retired in 1985 from the Bendix Corporation and was a member of the Bendix Retirees Club. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Lillian enjoyed gardening, and celebrating birthdays and holidays with her family. Visitation for Lillian will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 3, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, March 4, 2013 in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery.
