KNEPP, LOREN JAY, age 76, passed away at his residence on May 12, 2006. Mr. Knepp moved to StillWaters in 1990 after retiring as Operations Manager with IBM and Ceridian Corporation. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Knepp was an active member of the StillWaters Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad as a member of the Still Waters Men's Golf Association, member of the StillWaters Yacht Club, and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, Alabama. Mr. Knepp is survived by his wife, Katie Knepp of Dadeville, Alabama; one brother, Dale (Marge) Knepp; one sister, Gladys Albright both of North Liberty, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Ruth Lehman of Birmingham, Alabama; five nephews; and two nieces. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Still Waters Living Waters Church, Dadeville, Alabama, with Rev. Ed Hornig officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to StillWaters Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, 77 StillWaters Drive, Daveville, Alabama 36853. Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers are in charge of the arrangements.
