SOUTH BEND - Clement P. Kujawski, 94, passed away at 12:27 a.m. on Sunday, May 31st, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN. Clement was born on July 6, 1914, in South Bend, to the late Walter L. and Agnes (Miller) Kujawski. Clement married Betty M. Bykowski on September 5, 1942. She passed August 12, 1978. On February 2, 1985, he married Alice M. Dalke, who passed on October 5, 2005. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Kujawski, and son, Thomas J. Kujawski, who died on June 13, 2006. He is survived by daughter-in-law, Connie Kujawski of New Carlisle; grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) McCaw of Lafayette, IN, and John Kujawski of New Carlisle; stepdaughters, Mary A. (DeWayne) Pavey of Walkerton, IN, Sandra (Fred) Schmits of Aurora, IN, Ellen Morris of Indianapolis, Jacqueline (Dean) Christy of LeCompton, Kansas; step-grandchildren, Mashelle Pavey, Monique Pavey, Wes Pavey, Freddie Lee (Nina) Schmits, Jennifer (Jeff) Hughes, Jamie (Jeff) Fryar, Robbie (Aamyie) Kaser and Aaron (Jenny) Kaser; two great-grand-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Clement was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka parish. He belonged to Indiana Realtors, was a former financial secretary for the Reserve Office Association, a member of PNA #3078, New Carlisle, Council Oak Chapter #13, American Legion Post #297, New Carlisle, VFW #1954 in North Liberty and the Golden Clusters. He served in the European Campaign during World War II. He was a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, June 2nd, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 300 N. Michigan Street, Suite 450, South Bend, IN 46601.
