Robert Eugene Bob Zurawski, 84, of Goshen, died at 12:16 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital. Bob was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Sheboygan, Wis., to Regina (Skrentny) and Stanley Zurawski. He married Frances Lorraine Bourke on Oct. 18, 1958. She survives. Bob was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Bristol. He was an Army veteran and retired from Johnson Controls after 40 years. He graduated from Marquette University with an electrical engineering degree in 1968, after all four of his sons were born. Bob is survived by his former wife, Frances Zurawski of Fort Wayne; his four sons, Mike (Deb) of Crawfordsville, Steve (Elorie) of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Bill (Rose) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jim (Stacie) of Fort Wayne; and 11 grandchildren, Jeff (Lindsey) of Noblesville, Jena of Indianapolis, Jamie of Brookston, Jake of Crawfordsville, Josh of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Danielle of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Lauren of Jacksonville, Fla., Josh (Katy) of Austin, Texas, and Joe, Sam and Sarah of Fort Wayne. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Regina Zurawski; his brother, George; and his sister, Patricia Rewolinski. Friends may call for one hour prior to the 11:30 a.m. Mass Monday, April 9, 2012, at St. Marys Catholic Church, 411 W. Vistula St., Bristol. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
