SOUTH BEND - Robert D. Faltynski, 65, of Ripon, California, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017, in Ripon, California. Robert was born on April 8, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana, to Robert E. and Monica (Sobieralski) Faltynski. He moved from South Bend in the 1960s and had resided California for the last 50 years. Robert is survived by his wife, Terri (Chase) Faltynski; two daughters, Jennifer (Anthony Hogan) Faltynski of Manteca, California, and Kimberly Faltynski of Seaside, California; his son, Nicholas (Suzanne) Faltynski of Oceanside, California; three grandchildren, Bryce, Collins, and baby Grayson, who was born on April 8, 2017; his sister, Evelyn “Punky” (Daniel) Meert of South Bend, Indiana; his brother-in-law, Rick (Becky) Chase of Filer, Idaho; and four nieces and two nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Monica Faltynski. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on April 29, 2017, in Ripon, California. Robert enjoyed sports and was a huge Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed partying with his friends and loved his family more than anything. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association . Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
