Stanley V. Cencelewski, 85, of 2502 W. Huron St., died early Thursday morning in his home. Mr. Cencelewski retired in 1963 from the Studebaker Corp. as a foreman after 30 years of service. He was born March 26, 1902, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Oct. 17, 1939, in South Bend, he married Sally Jurgonski. She died Sept. 1, 1976. He is survived by a step-grandson; a sister, Antoinette Kulwicki of South Bend; and two brothers, Ted S. and Raymond C., both of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. He was a charter member of Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club, United Auto Workers Local 5 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 435.
