SOUTH BEND - Florence P. Zygulski, 86, passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, in Fountainview Nursing Home.

Florence was born on September 21, 1920, in South Bend, to Frank and Pauline (Dobrucki) Dembinski, who have both preceded her in death. On June 22, 1946, Florence married Stanley Zygulski, and he passed away on November 7, 1998. Two of her brothers, Benny Dembinski and Irvin Dembinski, and a nephew, John Dembinski, have also preceded her in death.

Florence is survived by daughters, Sue "Jamie" Zygulski (and her companion, Yvonne Caffery), and Elaine (Mark) Lemon, both of South Bend; grandson, Scott Lemon of Edwardsburg, MI; sister, Virginia Wieczorek of South Bend; and brother, Ray Dembinski of South Bend.

Florence was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, involved with the Rosary Society at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, belonged to M.R. Falcons and she worked for The South Bend Toy Company.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 12, at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
