MISHAWAKA - Frances C. Dolgos, 96, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Frances was born on July 1, 1912, in Plymouth, IN, to the late Joseph and Mary (Thompson) Biggins. On June 1, 1940, in Plymouth, Frances married Frank C. Dolgos, who passed away on May 23, 1977. Also preceding her in death were a son, Stephen J. Dolgos, and a brother, John Biggins. Surviving Frances are a daughter, Mary Ann Sobieralski of South Bend; a son, Frank A. (Lucille) Dolgos of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Frances worked as a registered nurse before retiring in 1977 from St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. She was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31st, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill St., Mishawaka, IN 46544; or to St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend, IN 46614.
