Paul Joseph Waddy, 77, residing in South Bend, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at his home. He was born in Sarasota, Florida on June 28, 1945, a son of the late Wilson Waddy & Naomi (Thompson) Waddy. On July 10, 1971, Paul married Mary Ann Kubiak who survives him. Paul worked as a publication writer and graphic designer at Ave Maria Press located on campus at the University of Notre Dame. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Waddy and daughter, Alison Marie (Paul) Meyers of Gurnee IL and his son, David Wilson Waddy of South Bend. He is also survived by grandchildren, Lilah and Emily Meyers as well as his sister, Anne Figel and his brother, Richard (Julie) Waddy, both of Martinsburg, WV Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Cathedral, 1701 Miami St. South Bend, IN with burial immediately following at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Guisinger Funeral Home, Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Samaritan’s Purse or Right to Life of Michiana. The Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family with arrangements.
