SOUTH BEND - Richard A. Luzny, 77, passed away at 10:25 pm, Monday, May 16, 2016 in Trail Point Village. Richard was born on June 30, 1938 in South Bend to Alex and Sabina (Gadacz) Luzny. He was employed by South Bend Range and St. Joseph Cemetery and loved Lionel Trains. He was preceded in death by his parents and an adopted sister, Alanna M. Chmiel. Richard is survived by a sister, Dolores “Dee” Hay of South Bend along with many friends. The family would like to thank the staff of section 400 in Trail Point Village and those at Heart to Heart Hospice. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Our Lady of Hungary Church. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
