SOUTH BEND - Olga L. Szabo, 89, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 11th, 2016. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on September 16th, 1926 to Frank and Elizabeth Kocsis who preceded her in death along with a brother, Frank Kocsis and a daughter-in-law, Kathi Szabo. On June 26th, 1943, in South Bend, she married Illes E. Szabo. He died on December 17, 1996. She was a volunteer at Battell Center in Mishawaka for several years and attended Mishawaka High School. She is survived by her children, Illes D. Szabo of Mishawaka, Stephen Szabo of South Bend, Indiana, James (Susannah) Szabo of San Diego, California and Christopher (Jan) Szabo of Columbus, Mississippi. Also surviving is her sister, Matilda Williams of South Bend and a brother, Eugene (Shirley) Kocsis of Florida. Four grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Matthew and Alexander survive with three great-grandchildren, Elaine, Claire and Abigail. Graveside services for Olga will be held at 10:30am on Friday, June 17th, 2016 at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends will be received from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana.
