SOUTH BEND - Annetta T. Kovacs, 90, of South Bend, passed away December 24, 2017 in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. Annetta was born January 17, 1927 in South Bend to the late Otto Demien and Esther (Schultz). She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Horace Fristoe; her second husband, George L. Kovacs; son, Alan Fristoe, who passed in 2014; sisters, Lucille Sloma, Minnietta Higgenbotham, Virginia Wanat, and Lorraine Warren; and brothers, Willard, Robert, Harry, Clarence, and Raymond Demien. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debbie Fristoe of South Bend; step-granddaughter, Heather Bauer of South Bend; step-great-granddaughter, Isabella Warren of South Bend; and niece, Carol Duszynski of South Bend. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place at Welsheimer Crematory. The family would like to extend a special thanks to staff and nursing staff at Healthwin for their exceptional care for Annetta during her stay.
