SOUTH BEND - Gloria V. Siderits, 84, passed away at 2:45pm Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Gloria was born on April 21, 1932 in South Bend to Victor and Elsie (Palyai) Gyorkos.
She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and crocheting. On October 11, 1952 in South Bend she married Joseph A. Siderits. He died on November 30, 1990. Gloria was also preceded in death by two sons Joseph A. Siderits, Jr. and James J. Siderits, a sister Arlene Andert and brother Victor Gyorkos. Surviving are a son Anthony J. Siderits of South Bend, two granddaughters Jackie Siderits and Katie Siderits, six great-grandchildren Gabby, Becca, Jacob, Tyler, Cody, Caleb, a great-great-grandson Killian, a sister Elsie Santarossa of Indianapolis and sister-in-law Eleanor Jankowski. Funeral services will be celebrated at 2:00pm Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Burial of her cremated remains will take place in Highland Cemetery.
